Meet the Team
Yi H. | Team Lead
Yi is the Co-Founder of Binance and the Head of Binance Labs, where she leads the business, investment, marketing and branding strategy. Since Binance's launch in 2017, Yi led the business strategy, which saw the company successfully becoming one of the world’s largest crypto exchanges within the span of six months. Yi also pivoted the company to a global blockchain ecosystem from just a crypto-to-crypto trading platform.
Dan | Investment
Dan covers crypto and equity investments. Prior to Binance, he had 7 years venture investment experience, covering TMT and SaaS sectors, and became a crypto evangelist in 2017. He also had 7 years of legal and tax professional experience with top tier firms in Asia.
Jerry Z. | Investment
Jerry covers equity investments and strategic M&A. Before joining Binance, Jerry was an investment professional at the venture arm of GenesisCare, and an investment banking associate at Morgan Stanley. Jerry graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with degrees in Applied Maths and Operations Research & Management Science
Andrew C. | M&A Integrations
Andrew leads M&A integrations at Binance. Prior to Binance, he was an advisor specializing in financial services M&A integrations in Asia and North America. Andrew is a CFA charterholder and a CPA, CA. He graduated from University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University with degrees in Mathematics and Business.
Mia M. | Portfolio Management
Mia is leading portfolio management at Binance Labs of 170+ projects across Strategic M&A, Labs Ventures, BNB Fund and Incubation Program. Before joining Binance, she was a consultant in McKinsey Digital and PwC Experience Centre
Alex O. | Investment
Alex is an Investment Director at Binance Labs and covers token, equity and strategic investments. Prior to Binance, Alex was an investment professional with a London-based technology fund for 2 years and an investment banker with Goldman Sachs for 4 years. He holds an MA degree in Econ and Maths from the University of St Andrews.
Jasmine K. | Investment
Jasmine mainly focuses on Binance Labs incubation as well as token and equity investments. She graduated from Babson College with two exchange experiences at the London School of Economics and HEC Paris for a year and half.
Kenneth C. | Portfolio Management
Kenneth is a legal specialist at Binance Labs. Before joining Binance, Kenneth practiced corporate law at leading international law firms where he advised clients on corporate restructurings, joint ventures and M&A in a variety of industries.
Kevin P. | Portfolio Management
Kevin is a portfolio management analyst at Binance Labs. Before joining Binance, he was an associate at Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). He holds a bachelor's degree in Finance at Singapore Management University (SMU).
Miguel S. | Investment
Miguel is an Investment Associate at Binance Labs. He mainly focuses on strategic investments as well as token and equity investments. Prior, Miguel spent 4 years in various investment roles at leading Private Equity and Family Office funds in Mexico. He studied Economics at ITAM.
Nicola W. | Investment
Nicola covers crypto and equity investments in Infra/Defi/NFT/GameFi sectors. Prior to Binance, she had 3 years consulting and venture investment experience covering crypto, tech and TMT sectors.
Phil R. | Investment
Phil is an Investment Director at Binance Labs. Previously, Phil was an investor at Goldman Sachs in the venture and growth technology investing team, and a venture builder at Diagram Ventures where he launched new fintech and crypto startups.
Tyler Z. | Investment
Tyler is an Investment Manager at Binance Labs, with a focus on equity & token investments and strategic M&A. Prior to Binance, Tyler was an investment professional in private equity real estate. He holds a bachelors’ degree in business administration and economics from University of California, Berkeley.
